1. Who we are
This website is operated by Digital Gate Management Services FZCO (“Digital Gate”, “we”, “us” or “our”), based at Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
For questions about this policy or the way we handle personal information, contact us at office@digitalgateglobal.com.
2. Information we collect
Information you send to us
If you use the contact form or email us, we receive the information you choose to provide. This may include your name, company, email address, phone number, the contents of your message and any later correspondence.
Technical and usage information
Our hosting, security and email service providers may process basic technical information needed to deliver and protect the website. This may include an IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps, referring pages and diagnostic or security logs.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall website traffic and performance, including page views, referring sites, approximate country, browser, operating system, device type and Core Web Vitals. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies or local storage to measure visits and does not create individual visitor profiles for us.
Language preference
If language selection is available and you choose a language, the website may save that choice in a first-party cookie called dg_locale. It exists only to remember your preference, expires after one year and is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Private analytics access
Our password-protected reporting area uses a strictly necessary, first-party session cookie called dg_analytics_session. It is available only to authorised users, is not used for advertising or visitor tracking and expires automatically after 12 hours.
3. How we use information
We use information received through the website to:
- read, assess and respond to business enquiries;
- continue discussions that you ask us to have with you or your company;
- operate, secure, troubleshoot and improve the website;
- measure aggregate website usage and performance;
- detect spam, misuse and security incidents;
- keep appropriate business and legal records; and
- comply with applicable law and respond to lawful requests.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use information submitted through this website for third-party behavioural advertising or automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
4. Grounds for processing
Depending on the circumstances and the law that applies, we process personal information with your consent, to take steps you request before entering into a business relationship, to pursue our legitimate interests in operating and protecting the website and handling business communications, or to meet a legal obligation. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we consider whether those interests are consistent with your rights and reasonable expectations.
You do not have to submit an enquiry. If you do, the fields marked as required are needed for us to receive and assess it. Without them, the form cannot be sent.
5. Who receives information
Information is available only to people who need it for the purposes described in this policy. We may also use service providers that support the website and our communications, including:
- Vercel for website hosting and delivery;
- Cloudflare for privacy-focused web analytics;
- Resend and the relevant email infrastructure for contact-form delivery;
- professional advisers such as lawyers, accountants and auditors; and
- public authorities where disclosure is required by law.
Service providers may use the information only to provide services to us or as otherwise permitted by their contracts and applicable law. We may also disclose relevant information in connection with a corporate restructuring, merger, financing or sale, subject to appropriate confidentiality and legal safeguards.
6. International transfers
Digital Gate is based in the United Arab Emirates, and some of our service providers operate infrastructure in other countries. Your information may therefore be processed outside the country where you are located. Where the law requires it, we use contractual or other recognised safeguards for these transfers.
7. How long we keep information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected. Contact enquiries and related correspondence are normally kept for up to 24 months after the last meaningful contact. We may keep a record longer where discussions lead to a business relationship, or where a longer period is needed for legal, accounting, compliance or dispute purposes.
Security and technical logs follow the retention settings of the relevant service provider. Cloudflare currently makes Web Analytics data available for the previous six months. We delete or anonymise information when it is no longer required.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures intended to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration. No website, email service or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure, so please avoid sending sensitive or unnecessary personal information through the contact form.
9. Your rights
Subject to the law that applies to you, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, request correction or deletion, restrict or object to processing, receive certain information in a portable form, or withdraw consent where processing depends on consent. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing already carried out lawfully.
Send a request to office@digitalgateglobal.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on it. You may also raise a concern with the data protection authority that applies in your jurisdiction, including the UAE Data Office where applicable.
10. Children
This is a corporate website intended for business audiences. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 through it. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. External websites
The website may link to services operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, and we are not responsible for the way they handle information.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the website, our service providers or applicable requirements change. The date at the top shows when the policy was last revised. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable way through the website or directly where appropriate.
